<p>Margaret Ann Montanye, age 60, lost her courageous battle against pancreatic cancer on Tuesday, February 21, 2012. She spent her last days surrounded by family at her home in Milton, WI</p>
<p>Margaret was born born April 21, 1951 and raised in Milton, the daughter of Stephen "Ward" and Regina "Dell" (Fanning) Cullen. She graduated from Milton Union High School in 1969 and Madison General Hospital School of Nursing in 1973. Margaret married her high school sweetheart Rodney Montanye in 1976 and together they raised three sons. Margaret lived a life of service for more than 30+ years at St. Mary's Hospital, Milwaukee, and Mercy Hospital, Janesville, WI and Mercy Hospital Hospice followed by seven years of dedicated work with REM Services, Inc.. She fulfilled a life of service to others-- from her jobs, to her family and to her community for her entire life. Margaret loved cooking for family and guests. She was so happy to be a grandmother and relished her time with her precious grandchildren.</p>
<p>Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. Margaret is survived by her sister: Janet George of Anchorage, AK; brother: Steve Cullen of Milton, WI; husband: Rodney of Milton, WI; three sons: Aric (Melissa) of Green Bay, WI, Kurt (Stephanie) of Flagstaff, AZ, and Mark (Brenda) of Mukwonago, WI; four grandchildren: Henry Ward of Green Bay, WI, Regina Ruth and Emma Lee Marie of Flagstaff, AZ, and Claire Margaret of Mukwonago, WI;</p>
<p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Milton with Msgr. James Uppena, Pastor officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Milton. Friends may call at visitation services at Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Milton on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and from 9:30 a,m, until time of services Saturday at the church. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 837 Parkview Drive, Milton, WI 53563</p>

<p>Patricia E. Quade, age 75, of Janesville died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Evansville Manor. She was born on May 24, 1936 in Berry, VT, the daughter of the late Milo and Dorothy (Rivers) Atherton. Patricia's mother later married Henry Fredendall, who helped raise her since she was 8 years old. After graduating from Janesville High School in 1954, Pat married her grade school sweetheart, Kenneth L. Quade on September 18, 1954 in Janesville. She was a member of St. William Catholic Church for many years.</p>
<p>For many years, Pat has been a distributor for Avon Products in the Janesville area and she also helped her husband with the family business, KL Flooring. Pat was a very caring, gracious and social person, who would make a complete stranger feel at home. Never a bashful or shy person, Pat's happy smile and friendliness made her everyone's friend. She enjoyed baking deserts and breads, playing bridge, square dancing, and collecting snowmen, Cherished Teddies and angels. Pat was a very optimistic, determined and strongwilled woman, who was always more concerned about her family and her friends than her own declining health.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband and best friend, Ken; three children: Scott (Mary) Quade of Green Bay, WI, Krisanne (Tim) Martin of Janesville and Phillip (Lisa) Quade of Janesville; her grandchildren whom she truly adored: Kegan, McKinley, Penny (Jesse) Kuhlman, Wendy ( Andrew) Schindler, Kayla and Korey; and her great-granddaughter: Emma Kuhlman. She is further survived by her two half-sisters: Margaret Leiterman and Pam Hemphill; sisters and brothers-in-law: Bonnie and Stan Smythe, Donald and Mary Quade, and Daniel and Pat Quade. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister-in-law: Betty Allen and brother-in-law: Tom Quade.</p>
<p>A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at ST. WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH; 456 N. Arch St., with Fr. John Auby officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the WHITCOMB - LYNCH - ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, JANESVILLE and again on Thursday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the church. Entombment will be at Milton Lawns Memorial Park.</p>

<p>Donald Raymond Dunn, age 78, of Edgerton, passed away Sunday, February 5, 2012 at home with his family at his side. He was born July 10, 1933 in Sun Prairie, WI the son of the late Raymond and Gerda (Pearson) Dunn. Donald married Janice Brandstein October 11, 1952 in Sun Prairie, WI.</p>
<p>He ran Dunn's Sentry Foods for over 21 years. After the grocery store, he utilized his entrepreneurial skills and ran many businesses in Edgerton, Janesville, Deerfield, Marshall and Milton. During his retirement, Donald and Janice managed apartments in Fort Atkinson, Cottage Grove, and Edgerton. He was a member at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edgerton.</p>
<p>Donald enjoyed his church, sitting in his recliner, watching his LED TV and watching sports. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and the love of his life, his wife Janice.</p>
<p>He is survived by his wife: Janice of Edgerton; children: Donald (Debbie) Dunn of Deerfield, WI, Lynn (Jeff) Larson of Edgerton, WI, Dennis (Judy) Dunn of Rhinelander, WI, and Amy (Brent) Rusch of Janesville, WI;</p>
<p>grandchildren: Tracey (Jess), Lisa ( Rob), Nicole, Jessie (Jason), Maggie-Pie, Jesse James, Amber, Jordan, and Ean ( Melissa); great</p>
<p>grandchildren: Calvin, Kaylee, Brody, Jenna, Jaxson, Cara, Tyler, Sammy, Jack and Bergen; sister: Marlene (Tom) Howe of Sun Prairie, WI; Besides his parents, Donald was preceded in death by a son: Steven; brothers: Dean Dunn, and Harold Dunn; sister: Doris Fassbender;</p>
<p>Private family services were held at the Whitcomb-Lynch-Albrecht Funeral Home, Edgerton with Father David Timmerman officiating.</p>

<p>Elsa B. Paulson, age 89, a longtime Janesville resident, passed away Thursday evening, February 2, 2012 at Our House, Janesville. She was born September 22, 1922 in Monticello, WI, the daughter of the late Jacob &amp; Madaline (Lint) Disch. On December 25, 1942 she married Canton "Smoky" Paulson . He preceded her in death on April 17, 1988.</p>
<p>She was a very loving and giving Mom, Grandmother, and Great-Grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, and baking her famous chocolate chip cookies. She never met anybody she didn't like, and had a smile that lit up the world! Our Mom enriched our lives and will be sadly missed!</p>
<p>She is survived by her 4 children, Donna (Bob) Otto, of Bowling Green, KY, Cal (Barb) Paulson, of Ft. Wayne, IN, Jeff (Mary Lou) Paulson, of Antigo, WI, and Laurie (Jeff) Sheldon, of Janesville, her grandchildren, Steve (Heidi) Paulson, Kurt (Kim) Otto, Todd (Kelley) Otto, Brian (Kristin) Paulson, Crystal Paulson, Jenny (Tony) Stuber, Rachel (Andrew Ley) Sheldon, and Sarah Sheldon. She was also blessed with 8 beautiful great-grandchildren,.Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Arlene Bosben, her brothers, Chester and Norman Disch, and by 3 infant children.</p>
<p>A special thank you go to Heartland Hospice and Our House Memory Care for their wonderful loving care they gave to our mother and her family!</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at FIRST LUTHERAN CHURCH, 612 N. Randall Ave., with Rev. James Melvin officiating. Private family interment will follow in the Perry Lutheran Church Cemetery, Daleyville, WI. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:30 until 11:00 A.M. at the CHURCH. <p>Edward M. Holmes, 98, a life-long resident of Milton, WI, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at Mercy Hospital in Janesville. Ed was born September 15, 1913, to James Pitt and Ruth (Roethel) Holmes. He graduated from Milton Union High School in 1931. He married Lorraine Heinz on February 20, 1937. She preceded him in death in October of 2004. Ed worked at General Motors for 37 years, retiring in 1972. He was one of the few surviving "Sit-Downers." He and Lorraine did a lot of traveling to many countries and loved to go camping. They also loved to dance and square-danced with the Milton Village Squares. Ed was a life-long member of the Milton Congregational Church, serving as a Trustee and Deacon. He also served as treasurer for many years and was an original member of the Scroobians. Ed was a long time member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, serving as treasurer and 2 terms as Nobel Grand. Ed and Lorraine also volunteered at The Gathering Place. Ed loved sports, playing tennis, golfing and bowling for many years. He also spent many hours watching sports on TV, faithfully following the Packers, Badgers and Brewers, and also loved playing cards, especially cribbage.</p>
<p>Ed is survived by his 3 children: Helen Mabry of Largo. FL; Edward (Marge) Holmes of Naperville, IL; and Diane (Don) Richards of Great Falls, MT. He has 5 grandchildren: Harnath, Heather, Jeff, Lee, and Becky; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, one cousin: Janice Zastrow of Fort Atkinson, and a very special niece: Jan Foreman of Milton. His niece, Bonnie Klitzkie and nephew, Steve Brace also survive him. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister: Helen Brace Morris; brother: James Pitt Holmes, Jr.; son-in-law: Harold Mabry; and niece: Pat Brace.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at The Congregational Church, 741 E. High St., Milton, WI 53563, with Rev. Herb Saunders officiating. Burial will follow at Milton Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM until the start of the service at the church on Wednesday. WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, MILTON is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials in Ed's name would be appreciated to Agrace Hospice or the Milton Community Action Center.</p>
<p>The family wishes to thank Milton Senior Living for their many years of wonderful care of both Ed and Lorraine. They were the first residents to live there and Ed had lived there for 10 years. We also thank Agrace Hospice for their help. He lived a long and active life and was so special to so many.</p>

<p>Delores Lucille Thomas, age 71, of Janesville, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at her home, following a long battle with cancer. She was born May 5, 1940 in the Town of Stark, Vernon County, WI, the daughter of the late Arthur &amp; Orine (Erlandson) JaDoul. Her mother died when she was young. Her father married Theresa Hotek, who then helped raise the family. Delores lived her early life in rural Vernon County, and graduated from Hillsboro High School, Class of 1958.</p>
<p>On March 12, 1966 she married Ronnie E. Thomas, and moved to the Janesville/Beloit area. She helped raise 3 children, maintain a home, and held down a job, which usually was in cooking or baking. Her reputation as a cake decorator brought people from near and far to get cakes from her. Delores loved to volunteer, and SHARE and The Salvation Army were 2 of her favorites to work with.</p>
<p>She is survived by her husband, Ronnie, 3 children, Patti Jo (Jeff) Vincer, of Pecatonica, IL, Ronnie Dale Thomas, of Whitewater, WI, and Scott Evan (Special friend, Janet Williams) Thomas, of Janesville, her 2 granddaughters, Cassie Bauling and Brianne Bauling, both of Pecatonica, IL, a great-grandson, Brianne's son, River, her 2 brothers, Tommy Sturm, of Wisconsin, and Ralph JaDoul, of Galesville, WI, 5 sisters, Mary (Marvin) Rockwell, of Onalaska, WI, Lillian JaDoul, of Mauston, WI, Audrey Martin, of Holmen, WI, Karen (Larry) McArthur, of Appleton, WI, and Joan (Jim) Elsing, of Camp Douglas, WI, and by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 2 brothers, Joe &amp; Wayne.</p>
<p>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, JANESVILLE, 21 S. Austin Rd.. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M., or from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the FUNERAL HOME. <p>November 17, 1951-January 31, 2012</p>
<p>Henry Carl "Hank" Faulkner, of Edgerton passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at age 60, after a seven-year struggle following diagnosis of a brain tumor. Born in Madison, Wisconsin and raised in Cambridge, Wisconsin, Hank married Angelea (Bronson) in 1972 and moved to Edgerton, Wisconsin where they raised their four daughters and he lived his remaining years.</p>
<p>As a youngster living on a farm, Hank learned to entertain his family with his creative imagination through pranks, yet he knew how to act quickly in times of need. An avid hunter and excellent marksman, Hank found solace in the outdoors as a young child, a love that continued on his entire life. Whether it was hunting for the next big turkey or buck or simply exploring the woods, Hank enjoyed peace in these simple pleasures.</p>
<p>During his working years, Hank used his skillful hands while employed with companies such as General Motors, Columbia Par Car and Stoughton Trailers. For a few years, he also owned his own golf car repair business.</p>
<p>Hank is preceded in death by his father Richard Faulkner, brother Thomas Faulkner, sister Jane Kluever and grandchildren Lucy and Isaiah Derks.</p>
<p>Surviving family include his loyal wife of 39 years, Angelea Bronson Faulkner, daughters Theresa (Michael) Champeau of St. Michael, MN; Sheri (Jason) Derks of Neenah, WI; Stefanie (John) Heden of San Diego, CA, and Elizabeth (Robert Stolte) Faulkner of Edgerton along with his grandchildren: Haley, Alexis, and Caitlin Champeau and Lincoln Derks. In addition, Hank is survived by his mother Ruth Faulkner of Madison, WI; sisters Margaret (Milton) Sprecher of Middleton, WI; Patricia (Bill) Imhoff of Monona, WI; Virginia (James) Iverson of Winnsboro, TX; brothers Peter (Ruth) Faulkner of Cambridge, WI and William (Donna) Faulkner of Sun Prairie, WI.</p>
<p>Memorial services will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME &amp; CREMATION SERVICES, EDGERTON, 1004 S. Main St., with Fr. David Timmerman officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 P.M. at the FUNERAL HOME. Although a private man, those who knew Hank best will remember he had a kind heart. May he find eternal peace at last.</p>

She was born in Janesville on Sept. 1, 1923, the oldest daughter of 17 children born to the late Frank and Florence (McGraw) Mabie. Nettie was baptized and confirmed in her faith at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Janesville. On Jan. 1, 1942, Nettie married Arthur H. Witt at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church in Edgerton. He predeceased her on Oct. 13, 1981. Nettie was a very active member of St. John Ev. Lutheran Church for many years, where she was involved with the Service Guild.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>When she was younger, Nettie worked as a nanny and later Nunn Bush Shoe Factory. After raising her family, Nettie returned to Nunn Bush and worked until she retired in 1981. Nettie was a very adventurous lady, who started bowling and golfing after her husband died. She wasn't one to stay idle for very long. She enjoyed fishing with her grandchildren, traveling, baking, sewing, and an occasional gambling trip. Nettie was a classy, happy, loving, and caring woman, who had the most infectious laugh. If she wasn't laughing, Nettie could be heard singing or humming one of her favorite hymns or songs. She made the best German potato salad, baked beans, and cherry-filled cookies anyone could ask for. She loved being around her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and she was very proud of each and every one of them.<br /><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>She is survived by her three children: Cynthia (Roger) Geske, Douglas (Jane) Witt, and Phillip (Sharee) Witt, all of Edgerton; six grandchildren: Jane (Bill) Pulcine, Jim (Suzanne) Geske, Rebecca (Mike) Westrick, Michael (Jan) Witt, Amber (Jason) Lyons, and Abby (Travis) Larson; 11 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by three brothers: Leslie (Jean) Mabie of Stoughton, WI, Richard (Mary Sue) Mabie of Hanover, WI, and Denis (Ruth) Mabie of Clinton, WI; six sisters: Mary Tomaszweski of Fort Worth, TX, Martha Rinker of Janesville, Charlene Olson of Muscoda, WI, Joyce Kinzer of Dallas, TX, Nancy Schmit of Janesville, and Virginia Walters of Memphis, TN; brother-in-law, Richard Witt of Edgerton; sister-in-law, Virginia Mabie of Beloit; many nieces, nephews and their families.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp; </span>In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Jason Pulcine; her sister, Jean Glackin; and six brothers: Bernard, Jackson, Frank, Robert, Darrell, and Jerry Mabie.<br /><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; </span>Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 3, 2012, at ST. JOHN EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH in EDGERTON, with Rev. Carl Seeger officiating. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the WHITCOMB-LYNCH-ALBRECHT FUNERAL HOME, EDGERTON, and again on Friday morning from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the CHURCH. Interment will be next to her husband at Fassett Cemetery. Memorials would be greatly appreciated if they were made to St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Edgerton.</span></p>
